Legacy Bank’s Brad Yaeger elected chairman of state bankers group

Brad Yaeger, executive vice president of Legacy Bank in Wichita, was elected chairman of the Community Bankers Association of Kansas at its recent annual convention, according an association news release.

He will serve until August 2013.

Yaeger has a bachelor’s degree from St. Mary of the Plains College in Dodge City and is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking in Boulder, Colo. He and his wife, Janice, have a daughter, two sons and three grandsons, and their first granddaughter is on the way.

The Community Bankers Association of Kansas is a business association representing the interests of community banks in Kansas. Its members are locally owned and operated banks in towns across the state. Legacy Bank has been a charter member of the association since 1978.
